Prayer Ministry Works says Thanks!

What a time we had in the Lord at the 2024 Spring Prayer Ministry Workshop on Saturday April 20, 2024. We were abundantly blessed and grateful for the continuous support of our ministry and presence of our Pastor Ron Blankenship who also introduced the Guest Speaker and Pastor Michael Mattar Sr. Pastor, Hope Fellowship Church, Ashburn, Va who also did the Benediction. Edifying Word in the form of a most powerful message and training session, which inspired energetic and  active participation, on the theme: "Developing a Biblical Theology of Prayer: We are in  practice, what we are in theology" was conducted by the Reverend Dr. Greg Kame, Pastor of the Glen Burnie Baptist Church and Director of Missions, Arundel Baptist Association.

Noted was the beautiful decorations of Fellowship Hall by Deacon Diane Butler;  preparation for the Spirit filled atmosphere by glorious and "best music ever" from the GABC Choir led by Director and Pianist Glenda Whitaker, Piano selections by Jared Awuku and Spirit lifting Praise songs led by Ministry Praise Leader, Doris Foggie; We thank BCMD Prayer Missionary Adron Dozat for the Opening Prayer; Visiting Soloist Beverly Rose and our own special musically gifted Juan Rivas for solos that soothed our very souls. We thank Garpue Barchue, James Destine & Austin Diggs for communications system operations; Garpue Barchue for Photography; and for the "food so delicious it was beyond description" by Maria Statom who was assisted by Elizabeth & Juan Rivas, Cordelia Joseph, Alma Thomas, and Cynthia Gould. Pat Wood for distributing flyers and Angela Clark who helped with everything. And to all of you who took the time to attend, thanks. It took this village to make the workshop a huge success, Thanks to all of you God's Kingdom was advanced, may God continue to bless you!

Helen Corrothers, Workshop Program Coordinator

Only those individuals who attended the prayer workshop on April 20th, if you would like to receive a copy of the slides from the Guest Speaker's presentation, please give your email address to Helen Corrothers and she will email them to you.
